What do I do?
“As a teacher assistant I provide classroom support for our primary teacher as they guide the class through a lesson, by preparing materials, interacting with students, and supervising activities in the classroom and outside during gross motor activities. My duties include implementing the teacher’s lesson plans and maintaining daily classroom routines, supporting each child’s social, emotional, and intellectual growth and development, also always ensuring the wellbeing and safety of children. I use a variety of instructional and assessment strategies, as directed by the teacher, to meet individual student needs. I maintain communication with parents and staff regarding the progress of students when the teacher is absent.”

Something people probably don’t know about me.
